Christina Lombardi Selected as Milano Moda Graduate Nominee

While studying at the prestigious Ars Sutoria in Milan Christina Lombardi made her first ever prototype. On July 2 p.v., at the first edition of Milan Fashion Graduate in 2015, the new annual event organized by the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, in collaboration with the Milan Triennale and Platform Training System Fashion, Christina's prototype was selected to be featured in the "Best of" competition.

Ars Sutoria School enters the Triennale of Milan

The most important international school for footwear and leather goods designers/pattern-makers will also take part in the first edition of the prestigious event promoted by the Italian National Chamber of Fashion

On 2 July the first edition is to be held of Milano Moda Graduate, a new annual event promoted by the "Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana", in collaboration with "Triennale di Milano" and "Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda".

It has been created with the objective of promoting and celebrating the excellent work of Italian fashion schools with a whole day dedicated to students of fashion and design, open to the public. For the first time the "Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana" is promoting such an operation for the sector, an innovation for Italy, involving 14 Italian schools.

Ars Sutoria will show some works of its graduates together with those of other important schools of fashion such as the Accademia della Moda, Accademia di Belle Arti of Brera, Accademia Euromediterranea, Accademia Galli, AFOL Moda, Ars Sutoria, Domus Academy, IED Moda, Istituto di Moda Burgo, IstitutoMarangoni, Istituto Modatech, Istituto Secoli, NABA Nuova Accademia Belle Arti and Politecnico di Milano.

The program of the day includes a series of shows which will start from 9.30 am in the Salone d'Onore of the Triennale, ending with the final one "The Best of" at 8 in the evening.

During the day the Triennale will act as framework for an installation of clothes and accessories created by students.

This first edition of Milano Moda Graduate will end with a great party, complete with DJ, to be held in the garden of the Triennale.

The event will also be streamed on the website of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana and on Vogue Talent.
